Interested in connecting with other youth who are passionate about making a difference? Beaverton youth are invited to attend the Youth Summit this spring. Organized by the city’s Mayor’s Youth Advisory Board, the Youth Summit is an event for students to connect with Beaverton, promoting local involvement. Hosted in the newly opened Patricia Reser Center for the Arts at 12625 SW Crescent St., students can participate in a variety of breakout ‘blocks’ focused on social justice, entrepreneurship and more. The goal of the Youth Summit is to provide youth with resources — whether that be new connections, new ideas or new opportunities. Preregistration is soon to come for the summit from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, May 26. Dinner will be provided.
