Here is what happened with the city this week, and what to look for in the week to come.
Mayor Beaty proclaimed April 2, 2022 – May 1, 2022 as the Month of Ramadan in Beaverton, urging all residents to support community members who are observing this holy month of the Islamic calendar.
The City Council approved a grant agreement for $1 million in state funding for programs and services that address housing insecurity, affordability, and/or homelessness in Beaverton.
Additionally, the council discussed vertical housing zones, the Housing Options Project, with considerations for home sizes and parking, and the first of many “Housing Talks” education sessions throughout the year.
