The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Plan 2021 Annual Report has been released. This annual report summarizes key work across all city departments to implement the 129 indicators in the city’s DEI Plan. Highlights from last year’s report include advances in language access, increased diversity in representation on boards and the City Council, implementation of a racial equity lens tool, launching efforts to expand housing and shelter, and business recovery funds reaching women-owned and BIPOC-owned businesses.
