Free Workshops Available for Artists and Arts Organizations 

Tualatin Valley Creates, the City of Hillsboro Cultural Arts Division and the City of Beaverton Arts Program have partnered to produce the Creative Impact Workshops, a series of professional development opportunities for Washington County artists and cultural organizations to discuss pertinent topics related to navigating the nonprofit and art world. This year, all workshops will be offered free virtually via Zoom. In addition, these programs will be available to the community for free for the first time through a united effort to support the arts and culture sector as the pandemic continues.

■ Thursday, Jan. 13, 4-6 p.m. Washington County Grants Panel for Organizations

■ Thursday, Jan. 27, 4-6 p.m. Art of Numbers: Taxes and Bookkeeping for Creatives  

■ Thursday, Mar. 10, 4-6 p.m. The Art of Relevance: How to Make Your Marketing Matter  

 Saturday, Mar. 12, 10 a.m. to Noon Teens: How to Apply for Internships  

■ Thursday, Mar. 24, 4-6 p.m. So You’re in a Gallery/Being Represented – How do You Make the Most of it?  

■ Thursday, Apr. 14, 4-6 p.m. Scaling up to a Mural  

■ Thursday, Apr. 21, 4-6 p.m. Finding Your Why & What to Do When Your Plan Fails  

 Saturday, Apr. 23, 10 a.m, to Noon Teens: Portfolio Review (part 2 of 2)
