Beaverton’s boards and commissions play a critical role in supporting city functions and advising the Council and Mayor on a variety of issues and topics. During the Month of September, applications are open to join available boards or commissions.

Unsure of which board you might be interested in applying to? Want to talk to someone about their experience as a board member? Visit an open “office hour” via Zoom ask questions and have a more in-depth conversation about the city’s boards and commissions, the application and appointment process, or anything else related to this involvement opportunity.

Ballots will be mailed out Wednesday, September 1, 2021, by the Washington County Elections Division.

Storefront / Tenant Improvement Grants

Grants up to $50,000 for interior and exterior improvements are available to businesses in downtown and along Allen Boulevard. The deadline to apply is September 10.
