Here is your update on what has happened with the City of Beaverton this week, and a preview of what to look for in the next week to come.
City Council
In their most recent meeting (Tuesday, January 12) Mayor Beaty and the Council presented three proclamations:
- Health for Humanity Yogathon Day – January 31, 2021
- Stalking Awareness Month
- National Slavery and Human Trafficing Prevention Month
They also passed a resolution declaring a vacancy on the Beaverton City Council and calling for a special election (The first election that meets these requirements is the May 18, 2021, Special Election).
Coming up in their next public meeting (Tuesday, January 19):
The community is invited to watch next week as Mayor and Council discuss the process for hiring a City Manager.
