Little Free Libraries in Your Neighborhood

The book fairy is coming to your neighborhood! Well, not exactly book fairies, but librarians, which are just as magical, right? In response to COVID-19 making it harder for people to access books, Beaverton City Library staff adopted 14 Little Free Libraries all around Beaverton, and have been regularly adding books and keeping them clean and tidy ever since.
This initiative started to ensure our community still had access to books, even without the opportunity to visit a physical library branch. Library staff reached out to neighbors who already had Little Free Libraries in their yards and offered to visit them regularly to help maintain and refresh the collections. Staff were met with gratitude and enthusiasm, and are currently adding books for children, teens, and adults to 14 Little Free Libraries in Beaverton!
