On Oct. 17, 2020, members of Beaverton’s Bicycle Advisory Committee (BAC) remembered the service of former chair, Adrian Freund, with a bike ride. Freund passed away in May 2020 and served as chair for two-and-a-half years.
“Adrian had a passion for cycling and a genuine commitment to making Beaverton a better place to ride a bike. Professionally, Adrian possessed deep experience in transportation, urban planning and city governance. He shared this knowledge freely and helped focus our efforts to increase the contributions we made to our city,” said Mike Mulligan, longtime BAC member and current chair.
