Creative Community Invited to Take Part in Free Virtual Professional Development

Tualatin Valley Creates, the City of Hillsboro Cultural Arts Division and the City of Beaverton Arts Program have again partnered to produce the Creative Impact Workshops, a series of professional development opportunities for Washington County artists and cultural organizations.

This year, all workshops will be offered virtually via Zoom. In addition, these programs will be available to the community for free for the first time through a united effort to support the arts and culture sector as the pandemic continues.

Upcoming workshop topics include:

  • Art of Numbers: Taxes and Bookkeeping for Creatives (Thursday, Nov. 12, 2020)
  • Washington County Grants Panel for Organizations (Thursday, Jan. 14, 2021)
  • Teens: Choosing a Career in the Creative Industries (Saturday, Feb. 6, 2021)
  • How Art Can Heal You and Others (Thursday, Mar. 11, 2021)
